2009 Good Ol' Days
25th Year Reunion over the weekend of: June 5, 6 & 7, 2009
Friday, June 5, 2009
We will start off the weekend with a gathering of classmates at the Fort Scott High School Commons area from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. where we will then go to the designated location of our ride in the Good ol’ Days Parade. Let’s show our continued support of the Fort Scott Tigers and plan to be in the parade.
After the parade, we will continue downtown to the Courtland Hotel, 1st and Scott Streets (business of Frank Adamson) where we will enjoy a Chicken Mary’s meal. You must RSVP for the tickets to be reserved for the meal (cost $7.00 per meal) or feel free to pick up your meal elsewhere and come join us. We will socialize with one another and then retreat to the Skubitz Plaza and enjoy the tunes of D.J. Kirby Ham at the street dance.

You are free to enjoy the Good ol’ Days activities until noon at which time we will meet at Around the Yard, 1500 South Margrave (garden shop business of Jay and Shelly Sanborn) for a pot luck family picnic (class funds to furnish burgers and dogs). We will discuss the all school reunion scheduled for next summer and plans for the 30th reunion as well. You will have 5 years to get ready for this one! After the picnic feel free to stay as long as you want socializing, however, don’t forget the Good ol’ Days street fair will close up around 5:00 p.m. You will then be on our own until evening at which time we will reconvene for a night of fun at the Skubitz Plaza for the street dance by Joe Giles and the Homewreckers.

The day will be open for you to enjoy the Good ol’ Days activites with the exception of 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. plan to stop in at the Courtland Hotel and say “Good Bye” (until next year – All School Reunion)!
